Delete your account

You can delete your Questify account and all of its data at any time — in the app, or by asking us here.

Delete in the app (instant)

  1. Open Questify and go to the Settings tab.
  2. Optional: tap Export my data to download a copy first.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately, and you're signed out on that device.

Without the app

Deleted the app already, or can't sign in? Email us from the address you signed in with (Apple or Google) and we'll delete your account within 30 days — usually much sooner — and confirm by email.

Email a deletion request

Or write to evil.monkey.corporation@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Questify account". If you used Questify as a guest without signing in, there's no email to match — tell us what you can (sign-up date, device), and we'll do our best to find it.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in (Firebase Authentication record, email address, account ID)
  • Your profile: nickname, emerald balance and preferences
  • All quests, vows and rewards, and their full history: completions, streaks, earnings and redemptions
  • Your statistics, feedback messages and data-export requests

What we keep, and for how long

  • Database backups — rotate out within 30 days, after which your data is gone for good.
  • Crash reports — up to 90 days; they contain your account ID but no email or content.
  • Aggregated analytics — up to 14 months, not linked to your email.
  • Our email thread with you — only if you contacted us, for up to 2 years.
